It celebrates companies that integrate learning into their organisational DNA—through strong governance, capability frameworks, strategic planning, and measurable impact on performance.

The winning organisation will show clear evidence of a structured approach that scales learning, supports workforce transformation, and delivers outcomes that matter to the business.

Best Use of Learning Technology Award

This award celebrates organisations that creatively and effectively use technology to enhance learning and workforce capability. It may include platforms such as LMS/LXP systems, AI-powered tools, mobile learning solutions, analytics dashboards, VR/AR simulations, or innovative digital content.

The category recognises organisations that leverage technology not merely as a tool, but as a catalyst for transformation - improving accessibility, engagement, personalisation, efficiency, and measurable learner outcomes.

Leadership Development Programme of the Year

This award honours organisations that design and deliver exceptional leadership development programs that prepare leaders for the future.

It recognises initiatives that build strong leadership pipelines, strengthen strategic thinking, drive behavioural change, and positively influence organisational culture and performance.

Winning programs show strong instructional design, clear competency frameworks, engaging delivery approaches, and evidence of lasting impact on leaders and teams.

Inclusive Learning Excellence Award

This award recognises organisations that embed inclusion, diversity, equity, and belonging (DEIB) principles into their learning initiatives.

The category honours organisations that ensure all learners—regardless of background, ability, or role - have equitable access to learning opportunities.

Examples may include inclusive design practices, accessible learning content, culturally sensitive materials, targeted development programs, or initiatives that promote psychological safety and representation in learning.

Rising Star Organisation Award

This award celebrates emerging organisations—newer or early in their learning maturity journey—that demonstrate rapid progress, innovation, and strong potential in enterprise learning.

It recognises organisations making bold improvements, implementing creative solutions, and showing strong commitment to building a learning culture, even with limited resources or early-stage structures.

The award highlights emerging excellence and future promise in Africa’s learning landscape.

Enterprise Learning Excellence (Grand Award)

The highest honour of the Enterprise Learning Awards, presented to an organisation demonstrating outstanding excellence across multiple dimensions of learning and development.

The recipient will exemplify best practices in learning strategy, leadership development, technology adoption, inclusivity, culture, and measurable impact.

This award recognises the organisation that has shown the most comprehensive, sustained, and transformative approach to enterprise learning across the entire awards cycle.

Provider Awards – These awards honour African learning service providers, technology vendors, and consultancies delivering outstanding solutions that enable organisational capability and workforce development.

Winning providers will show strong partnership capability, customer support, and evidence of how their technology transforms learning experiences and performance outcomes.

Proprietary Learning Technology of the Year

This award highlights a unique learning technology solution built either by a provider.

Recognised technologies may include custom-built platforms, AI-driven learning tools, mobile applications, simulation environments, or specialised software designed specifically to address learning challenges.

The category rewards originality, effectiveness, scalability, and clear evidence of improvement in learner experience or organisational performance.

Learning Delivery Excellence Award

This award recognises providers that excel in the delivery phase of learning—ensuring exceptional customer service, responsiveness, facilitator quality, and learner engagement.

Training Provider of the Year

This award celebrates learning service providers that deliver outstanding training programs and development solutions to their clients.

It recognises excellence in program design, facilitation quality, learner engagement, service delivery, and measurable client outcomes.

Providers will demonstrate a strong understanding of client needs, innovative instructional approaches, and consistently high satisfaction from learners and organisations.
