Judging Panel

Entries are reviewed by an independent panel of experienced learning and development professionals, industry leaders, and subject-matter experts. Judges are selected based on their expertise and are required to declare any conflicts of interest

Evaluation Framework

Each submission is assessed against predefined criteria specific to the award category. While criteria vary by category, evaluations typically consider:

  • Strategic alignment and relevance
  • Quality of design and execution
  • Innovation and creativity
  • Learner or organizational impact
  • Use of data and evidence to demonstrate outcomes

Judges score each submission using a standardized scoring rubric.

Scoring and Shortlisting

  • Entries are scored independently by multiple judges.
  • Scores are aggregated to determine shortlists for each category.
  • In the event of close scores, submissions may be reviewed by an additional judge or panel discussion.

Final Selection

Final winners are selected based on the highest overall scores and the strength of supporting evidence. Judges’ decisions are final and not subject to appeal.
